Hi there! Nice to meet you

Hello! I’m Karim, a Kobe-based tour host who loves introducing visitors to the real Japan beyond the usual tourist spots. I have lived in Japan for several years and have had the opportunity to experience Japanese culture, daily life, food, transportation, and local communities from a resident’s perspective. With a background in civil engineering and a Master’s degree from Ritsumeikan University, I also enjoy explaining the fascinating architecture, bridges, infrastructure, and history you encounter during a tour. As a multilingual host, I speak English fluently and can also communicate in Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, Dari, and Pashto. This helps me connect with people from different backgrounds and make guests feel comfortable. What I enjoy most is meeting people from around the world, sharing stories, discovering local places, and helping visitors experience Japan in a relaxed and personal way. I particularly enjoy Kobe, Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, and I can show you places that you might otherwise miss. My tours are not just about taking photos at famous landmarks. I like to explain the stories behind the places, introduce local food and customs, and share practical tips about getting around, where locals eat, and how to enjoy Japan without spending unnecessarily. Whether you are visiting Japan for the first time or returning for another trip, I want you to feel less like a tourist and more like a friend exploring Japan with a local. My goal is simple: to help you experience Japan, not just see it.
