Hi there, my name is Akarin or Andy to my friends. I am a half Bangkokian – Chiang Mai citizen and passionate about history and culture. A cool thing to know? As a Phd graduate, I teach cultural heritage management in universities and if you are interested in performing arts, I’m also a traditional Thai classical dancer and teacher specialised in Thai mask play as well as a small cafe owner in a local community in the old part of Bangkok. Born in Bangkok of Chiang Mai mother, I love both of my parents’ hometowns for their distinctive cultures, heritages and lively atmosphere, they are different, yet, as equally homes to me!
