As a proud fourth-generation Nyonya, I carry the vibrant spirit of Penang’s Peranakan heritage in everything I do ~ woven into my traditions, my stories, and my sambal belacan !!!! I’m a high-energy, fun-loving yoga teacher on a mission to sprinkle joy wherever I go 🙂 Back in my past life (a.k.a. my fabulous 20s “ahem”), I sailed the skies and strutted the seas ~ gracing airport runways, fashion catwalks, and ocean liners as a flight stewardess, model, and jewelry designer …. I even rode camel, and once on a very confused goat cart in Turkey hahahaha P.S. Laughter is my favorite travel companion—and fun? Always packed in my carry-on, right next to my emergency chili paste.
